My name is Francesca. Welcome to Speaking Through Curls!
My story starts in New Jersey. I was born into a large, loud Italian-American family who loves and laughs BIG. I grew up about 15 minutes from New York City and one hour from the Jersey Shore.
After 18 beautiful years in the Garden State, I came to Boston, the city I currently call home. I attend Boston University, where I’m learning more about my field of study (communication) and myself than I ever could’ve imagined.
As an impending graduate, I feel overwhelmed with the possibilities of my future. I’m going through, what I believe, is a crucial moment in a person’s life: I’m becoming an adult. A real-life-adult. Want to know the truth? I’m shit scared. Excuse me for the melodrama but I just can’t help it.
So – this is Speaking Through Curls. My space where I can calm my nerves. A space where I ask why. My space where I ramble. My space where I talk about the mundane, the stupid, the funny and the serious. This is my space. An area that I hope to share with you, so we can talk together. And make this life thing a little less scary and a lot more exciting.
